All graduate students pursuing either M.S. or Ph.D. degrees in the department are required to attend a graduate seminar during the Fall and Spring semesters whether presenting or not.

Goals of graduate seminar program

• expose the graduate student to diversified areas of current research topics
• develop the student's communication skills
• develop the student's ability to accurately report and interpret research data

Graduate students are expected to be familiar with each seminar topic and to actively participate in discussion of the topic during each seminar.
