How to get to the UGA College of Pharmacy

Athens, Georgia, home of the University of Georgia, is located 60 miles northeast of Atlanta. Several highways and interstates lead directly into Athens and two airports service the city. The directions provided by the Visitor's Center will lead you to the Visitor's Center location off College Station Road.

For directions to the College of Pharmacy from the Visitor's Center:

1. Continue on College Station Road until you reach the railroad crossing.
2. Make a right turn at the crossing onto East Campus Road.
3. Go to the first traffic light.
4. Turn left onto Carlton Street.
5. Proceed through the first traffic light.
6. At the second traffic light on Carlton, take a right.
7. You are now on Sanford Drive, directly behind the College of Pharmacy.

Where do I park?

You should park in the South Campus Parking Deck, which is approximately 1 block down Sanford Drive on the left next to the Georgia Center for Continuing Education. You can park in the deck for a minimal fee.

For directions to the Parking deck from Downtown Athens:

1. If you are entering downtown Athens (Broad Street) from the Atlanta Highway, turn right onto South Lumpkin Street (just after the Holiday Inn). You are now entering the University of Georgia campus.
2. Go through 5 traffic lights.
3. Just after the 5th light, there will be a parking deck on the left.
4. Park in the deck, go out the back, and cross the street.
5. The College of Pharmacy will be the second building on the right.

Where is the R.C. Wilson Pharmacy building?

The College of Pharmacy is located about a block behind the South Campus Parking Deck. Find the corner of Sanford and Green Street (directly across the street from the South Campus Parking Deck back entrance you were instructed to use). Green Street borders the north end of the Pharmacy building. Please look for the four-story white building with tinted windows. Enter through the back entrance on the 2nd floor.

Where is the Department of Pharmaceutical & Biomedical Sciences?

Take the stairwell as you enter the building. Go to the 3rd floor. When you enter the 3rd floor, take a right. Our departmental business offices are on this hallway and our staff will be happy to assist you.
